About this exhibition

In 1952, Umehara, who had been invited to become an international judge for the first postwar Venice Biennale, moved to Europe, where he frequently pursued his art during trips to various European countries.This exhibition included 38 new landscapes painted between June of the previous year and the spring of the year in which the exhibition was held during visits to Naples, Venice, Antibes and Cannes.
