Paintings Formerly in the Matsukata Collection

Exhibition held to commemorate the third anniversary of the death of the great Western art collector Matsukata Kojiro. It included 58 oils and pastels (60 or more, according to the catalogue). It attracted great interest for displaying many Impressionist masterworks for the first time in 30 years.
