Previously Unexhibited Works from Private Collections

This exhibition included 29 paintings (oils, watercolors, sketches), 19 prints (all lithographs), and 7 sculptures (bronze, marble, wood), 55 works in all, from private collections around Japan. Also included were a dozen or so works, including Degas pastels and bronze, and Greek sculptures purchased by Ishibashi Shojiro at the end of the previous year and shown for the first time in Japan.
