The Ishibashi Foundation Art Research Center’s extension is completed

The Ishibashi Foundation Art Research Center (ARC) was established in 2015 as a research facility for the Artizon Museum. Research on works of art as well as their conservation and restoration and collecting, organizing, and storing related materials. Since 2017, ARC has held workshops, lectures, and other programs for school groups and members of the general public. Access to its library is available to researchers (university students and more advanced).

Work began in July 2023 on ARC’s extension, which completed, after nearly a year and a half of construction, in March 2025. It has gone into full operation this fall. With its greatly enhanced facilities, ARC will, as another hub for the Artizon Museum, engage in a variety of activities.
